It may almost be spring, but wow, it is STILL cold! It seems like I need
mitts or mittens until April. Come on in
for wool or alpaca yarns to stay toasty warm (sport weight socks are divine
when temps are in the 20F range). Or come by and grab one of our clearance
patterns to make yourself something. We do have a bunch of fabulous spring
yarns from Berocco so you can get started on a spring scarf. If you need a
hat but don't want to knit one yourself, we have some old shop samples for
sale; they are tagged.
Watch our FB page and our calendar for free seminars on how to add a lining to an existing hand-knitted mitten. These are super popular so we're requesting RSVPs, please.
We will be open Saturday March 15, but there will be traffic impacts in the afternoon due to the St. Patrick's Day parade which starts at 4pm.
PLEASE NOTE: Classes have started and are in the Calendar section. If you are interested in a particular project, well, yeah we teach that, just let me know and if there is enough interest we will set up a class. If you're interested in teaching, please drop by and we can discuss it!
Knitting: Several groups meet at Calypsos Coffee, Thursday 10am-noon, Friday 9:30am-11:30am, and Monday 10am-noon or so. Our class schedule can be found on the Calendar page. To find the shop, at the bottom of this page, under "Contact", you'll see our address (1107 E Sherman Ave. Coeur d'Alene) -- if you click on it, you'll get a Google map!
